Rules for Hiding a Cache

In order to attempt to clarify the Geocaching.com cache requirements, I've put a few bullet points below for placing physical caches.

Wilderness Areas are off limits
No physical caches in National Parks
Don't place a cache within 150 feet of railroad tracks
If you get permission, National Forests and Wildlife Mgt. areas are ok
No caches under bridges (foot bridges are ok), on airport property, or near tunnels (9/11 sensitivity)
Caches have to be at least a tenth of a mile apart - preferrably farther
