For those of you keeping track, this will be the 10th Annual Texas Challenge.
Ray Roberts Lake State Park The North Texas region is hosting the 2012 Texas Challenge. This will be a change of pace for regular attendees of this annual event. While it is a bit of a drive for most Texas geocachers, it will be worth it to meet geocachers from across the state and find geocaches in a new place. For accommodations, Ray Roberts Lake State Park does have camping available. If camping is not for you, the cities of Sanger and Pilot Point do have hotels available. Registration Information
If you are competing in the Texas Challenge, registration is required. Otherwise, registration is strongly preferred. Your registration helps the Texas Geocaching Association prepare for your attendance at the event. There will be goodies given to all those that register.
Anyone participating in the Texas Challenge competition must fill out this waiver and turn it in at check in. No one else may turn this waiver in for you.
Food
The cuisine of choice for those attending the Texas Challenge is delicious North Texas BBQ. This will be served after the Texas Challenge competition on Saturday. Meal tickets must be purchased in advance when registering your attendance of the Texas Challenge.
Souvenirs
This years Texas Challenge Coin and Shirt design was created by SOMEONE. They are for sale in advance only, and can be purchased when you register to attend the Texas Challenge. These will be available for pick up when checking in at the Texas Challenge event headquarters.

Camping
There is camping available at Ray Roberts Lake State Park, but it does sell out fast. If you are interested in camping, please head over to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Fee's and Permits page for the state park.
